No real brand per product

Using the store name as the vendor on every product removes the field an agent uses to group and trust your catalogue.

How to fix it
  1. Set the vendor to the actual manufacturer on resold products.
  2. Keep the spelling consistent, since 'Bearking', 'BearKing' and 'BEARKING' will not group.

Why an agent cares

Shopify defaults the vendor field to the store name, and many catalogues never change it. The result is a thousand products all apparently made by the retailer.

For a genuine own-brand store this is correct. For a store reselling other brands it discards real information, and it means brand-name queries never resolve to your listings.
