Shopify publishes /products.json on every storefront unless it is deliberately blocked. It is how this audit runs without an install.

Why an agent cares

Every Shopify storefront exposes a JSON feed of its published products. It is a documented part of the platform, it requires no authentication, and it is what makes a zero-install audit possible.

It is worth knowing that this is public, because it means your competitors can read your catalogue, your pricing and your stock as easily as we just did.
